Our after school program is a safe environment in which we pick up students from their respective schools and care for them until parent pick up (by 6pm).
Students report to age-appropriate classrooms. Our staff provides a healthy snack, homework help, fun and games, and of course, karate classes.
Karate classes are included as a part of the after school program, and are the backbone of our character development program. Students in the after school program are expected to attend karate classes while they are in attendance for afterschool, and they are also allowed to attend karate classes held outside of after school hours at no extra charge.
We currently pick up from the following elementary and middle schools: AG Cox, Chicod, Creekside, Eastern, Elmhurst, Hope Middle, WH Robinson, Wintergreen, Winterville Charter
Call or stop by to see if there is availability for your school. Slots do fill up quickly, but if there is no availability, we can place you on a waiting list and notify you when there is space. If your school is not listed or if the van is full, you can still enroll your child in our after school program and drop them off at our facility.
Q: Are you closed when schools are closed for holidays, teacher workdays, etc?
A: We have a yearly calendar that provides the dates which we are closed (major holidays). We do offer full day services on teacher workdays and extended holidays at no extra fee. We pick up on early release days according to the school schedules.

A: In the event of inclement weather, we announce our intentions as early as possible. We send an email out to all parents. Our general policy is to remain open unless the weather becomes dangerous for our staff.
Q: What are your hours of operation? A: On regular school days, we will have staff on site beginning at 2pm. If your child is not participating in a later class, they should be picked up by 6pm. On days that we offer full day service, we are open 6:30 am to 6pm.
Q: Do you accept walk-ins looking for more information about the afterschool and summer programs or do you need an appointment?
A: Walk-ins are always welcome. We will generally have a staff member available during our hours of operation to speak with current or prospective parents and families.
Q: How old must my child be to attend the afterschool program?
A: Children may enroll in our afterschool program if they are in kindergarten through 8th grade.
