Summer camp is an extension of our afterschool program. Summer camp is in session from the last day of school in June until the first day of school in August (except for July 4th).
During summer camp, we continue our character program and karate classes that students attend during the school year through various activities and outings. We have a summer camp calendar that we update with outings, including swimming, roller skating, museums, nature parks, and much more.

Q: Do students have to be enrolled in afterschool in order to be enrolled in summer camp?
A: No. Some students attend for the summer only.
Q: Do students have to enroll for the entire summer?
A: No. Students are able to enroll by the week. There are discounts available for students who enroll for the entire summer.
Q: Do students need to attend the entire day?
A: No, students may be dropped off or picked up at any time during the day. Even when we go on trips, we still have a staff member at the building for anyone who arrives after we leave.
Our after school program is a safe environment in which we pick up students from their respective schools and care for them until parent pick up (by 6pm).
Students report to age-appropriate classrooms with a low student/teacher ratio. Our staff provide a healthy snack, homework help, fun and games, and of course, karate classes.
Karate classes are included as a part of the after school program, and are the backbone of our character development program. Students in the after school program are also allowed to attend karate classes held outside of after school hours at no extra charge.
We currently pick up from the following elementary schools: Ayden, Creekside, Eastern, Greenville Montessori, Ridgewood, WH Robinson, Wintergreen, Winterville Charter
We also pick up from the following middle schools: AG Cox, CM Eppes, EB Aycock, Hope, Winterville Charter
Call or stop by to see if there is any availability for your school. Slots do fill up quickly, but if there is no availability, we can place you on a waiting list and notify you when there is space. If your school is not listed or if the van is full, you can still enroll your child in our after school program and drop them off at our facility.
Q: Are you closed when schools are closed for holidays, teacher workdays, etc?
A: We have a yearly calendar that provides the dates which we are closed (major holidays). We do offer full day services on teacher workdays and extended holidays (nominal fee for students not enrolled year round). We pick up on early release days according to the Pitt County Schools schedule.
Q: What is your inclement weather policy?
A: In the event of inclement weather, we announce our intentions as early as possible. We will make announcements on our facebook page and send an email out to all parents.
Q: What are your hours of operation? A: On regular school days, we will have staff on site beginning at 2pm. If your child is not participating in a later class, they should be picked up by 6pm. On days that we offer full day service, we are open 6:30 am to 6pm. Parents are encouraged, but not required, to watch their children's karate classes.
Q: Do you accept drop-ins looking and seeing what is going on for afterschool and summer programs or do you need an appointment?
A: Drop-ins are always welcome. We will always have a staff member available during our hours of operation to speak with current or prospective parents and families.
